VISITING MEMBERS IN POPRAD & AND MEET THE NEW SLOVAK PRESIDENT

British Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic, French-Slovak Chamber of Commerce, German-Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hispanic-Slovak Chamber of Commerce, Italian-Slovak Chamber of Commerce, Netherlands Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic, Slovak-Austrian Chamber of Commerce, Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Slovakia and Swiss-Slovak Chamber of Commerce organised on 15th and 16th May 2014 a regional visit of companies in Poprad. The visit offered a glimpse of production and daily activities of the following companies operating in different industries: IMMERGAS EUROPE, s.r.o., CHEMOSVIT, a.s., MADI´S, s.r.o, JAVORINA v. d. and KARLOFF s.r.o., Tatra Distilery.

In the evening in the conference room of AquaCity Poprad the participants enjoyed not only the generous hospitality of AquaCity Poprad, but also very interesting inputs: Presenting Region High Tatras by GM of AquaCity Poprad Mr. Richard Pichonsky and Presenting investment opportunities in the region Poprad by Mr. Hrobák from the Poprad office of Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Highlight of the evening was meeting the newly elected Slovak President Andrej Kiska who gave a talk on “How to Succeed in Business”
Another interesting input to the evening was Investor's Guide to Slovakia 2014 – a book launch by Andrej Kiska and Juraj Miškov, MP and President of the Slovak Invest Agency.

Except for a unique opportunity for networking the participants were given two books: Investor's Guide to Slovakia 2014 and Vezmi život do svojich rúk (Take the Life into Your Hands) by Andrej Kiska.
